Topless Tower Crane

A topless tower crane, also called a flat-top tower crane, is a modern crane design that eliminates the traditional tower head or apex. The jib and counter-jib are mounted directly to a compact horizontal turntable frame, resulting in a lower overall height. This design allows faster assembly and dismantling, reduces the size of components for easier transport, and improves clearance when multiple cranes operate on the same site. Topless tower cranes are widely used in high-rise and urban construction, especially where space is limited or height restrictions apply. They provide high lifting capacity, precise load control, and increased safety in crowded job sites.
